President Director of PTPP Accompanying President Joko Widodo in the Inauguration of the Sindang Heula Dam Project

PT PP (Persero) Tbk, one of the leading construction and investment companies in Indonesia (the “Company”) has successfully completed the construction of the Sindang Heula Dam project located in Banten Province. The dam construction project was inaugurated directly by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo which was symbolically marked by the procession of pressing the siren button and signing the inscription. During the inauguration, President Joko Widodo was accompanied by Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko, Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (“PUPR”) Basuki Hadimoeljono, Banten Governor Wahidin Halim, and Company President Director Novel Arsyad.

The inauguration ceremony was also attended by M. Toha Fauzi as Director of Operation 2 of the Company, and Yuyus Juarsa as SVP of Corporate Secretary of the Company. In addition, the inauguration ceremony was also attended by local officials and community leaders. The inauguration ceremony was held at the Sindang Heula Dam location, Banten on Thursday (04/03) by strictly implementing the Covid-19 health protocol.

The company together with PT Hutama Karya (Persero) which is part of the consortium are trusted by the Ministry of PUPR to work on the construction of the Sindang Heula Dam which has a contract value of Rp. 427 billion. The construction of the Sindang Heula Dam was carried out with an implementation period of 38 (thirty eight) months in multiyears starting in 2015 and has a maintenance period of 12 (twelve) months. This development project has a scope of construction work, including: construction of the main dam, saddle dam, access road, service bridge, operational & maintenance access, spillway, and spillway lighthouse access. The Sindang Heula Dam construction project located in Sindangheula Village, Pabuaran District, Serang Regency, Banten Province is funded by the State Budget.
