PTPP held the ground breaking of The New Fish Market at Muara Baru Fish Market, Penjaringan District, North Jakarta (8/2/2018). The groundbreaking attended by Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Republic of Indonesia Susi Pudjiastuti, Head of Committe IV Indonesia House of Representatives Edhy Prabowo, Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan, Director of Building Construction PTPP M. Aprindy along with all of the managements. The construction of The New Fish Market Muara Baru occupies an area of 22.444 m2, it will be the first modern fish market in Indonesia. The design has 900 wet stall, 155 dry stall, along with modern concept, while maintaining the quality of fish and maintain interaction between fish sellers and customer. Susi also claimed that The New Fish Market Muara Baru will be the new icon of Jakarta, culinary center, showcase center of fish diversity in Indonesia and increase fish consumption as well. The New Fish Market Muara Baru targeted to be completed at the end of 2018.
