PT PP (Persero) Tbk ("PTPP") participated as a delegation in the Indonesia-Turkey bilateral meeting which was held virtually on Tuesday (23/06). The Government of Indonesia represented by the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing ("PUPR") Basuki Hadimuljono and the Government of Turkey represented by the Minister of Trade Rusan Pekcan gave a speech at the event. The meeting aims to increase cooperation between Indonesia and Turkey at the level of Government to Government (G2G), Business to Business (B2B), and Public Private Partnership (PPP), especially in the field of infrastructure.
The virtual visit was attended by the Indonesian Ambassador to Turkey Lalu Muhammad Iqbal, Chair of KADIN Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, Deputy for Infrastructure of the Ministry of PPN / Bappenas Kennedy Simanjuntak, Managing Director of BUMN BUMN, Turkish Construction and Architecture Consultant Association, Association of Indonesian Contractors, Association of Contractors Turkey, as well as a number of representatives of the Indonesia-Turkey Economic Cooperation Council.
In the bilateral meeting, Turkey showed great interest in entering the Southeast Asian market, especially Indonesia. After the virtual visit, a working group will be created between countries to continue the opportunities for Indonesia-Turkey cooperation. The collaboration includes B2B initiatives, finance mechanism, market access facilities and employment.
"The implementation of bilateral visits and virtual business forums is expected to encourage increased bilateral relations in the economy and trade between the two countries," said Novel Arsyad President Director of PTPP.

President Joko Widodo has a vision of using infrastructure development to encourage economic growth and increase national productivity and competitiveness. We are open to foreign involvement, both to participate in working on infrastructure projects and to invest in fields infrastructure ", added Basuki Hadimuljono, Minister of PUPR.
