PT PP (Persero) Tbk, one of the leading, largest and best construction and investment companies in Indonesia (“PTPP”), through its Management, paid a working visit to the Kalibaru Maritime Tower and Petikemas Port project located in North Jakarta. The work visit was carried out to see the progress of the ongoing project development performance and ensure that the project is running well. The work visit which was held on Wednesday (20/05) was attended by the Board of Commissioners, namely: Andi Gani Nena Wea as President Commissioner concurrently as Independent Commissioner, Nur Rochmad as Independent Commissioner, Sumardi as Commissioner, Ernadhi Sudarmanto as Commissioner, Loso Judijanto as Commissioner Commissioner, and accompanied by Anton Satyo Hendriatmo as Director of Operations 1 PTPP. The implementation of the work visit of the Board of Commissioners of the two projects strictly applies the Covid-19 health protocol.
The first working visit was carried out by the Board of Commissioners to the Maritime Tower construction project located in Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta. The Maritime Tower development project located in Jakarta is targeted to be completed in August 2021. The project, which is owned by PT Menara Maritim Indonesia, has a contract value of Rp. 706 billion. As of early May 2021, the progress of the Martime Tower project construction has reached 78.31%. Maritime Tower also meets green building standards that have been certified by the Green Building Council Indonesia (“GBCI”) with a Gold rating. The form of the Maritime Tower building itself has a design concept such as the shape of a phinisi ship which is a distinctive feature in office and commercial environments in the North Jakarta area. The project development has entered the topping off stage where the event was held on Wednesday (19/05).
After conducting the first working visit, the Board of Commissioners of PTPP together with the Director of Operations 1 and PTPP Management continued the second working visit, namely Kalibaru Container Terminal Port. The development project, which is called North Kalibaru Container Terminal Phase I, is owned by PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero). The construction of the Container Terminal which has been built since 2012 is one of the mega projects undertaken by the Company with the completion of the development target in May 2022. As of April 2021, the construction of the mega project has reached a progress of 95.16% where handover has been made to the project owner gradually. During its development period, this mega project has received visits from several state officials, namely: Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Budiono (2014), Minister of BUMN RI Rini Soemarno (2015), Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Jusuf Kalla (2015), and President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (2016) ).
