PT PP (Persero) Tbk ("PTPP") along with 8 (eight) other SOEs, namely PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk ("Telkom"), PT Pertamina (Persero) ("Pertamina"), PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia ( Persero) Tbk ("BRI"), PT Pegadaian ("Pegadian"), PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (Persero) ("PMN"), PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk ("Waskita"), PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk ("WIKA") and PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) ("PI") signed a Memorandum of Understanding regarding the development of digital markets for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises ("MSMEs") on Monday (15/06). The procession of signing the Memorandum of Understanding this time is very different and is a new thing, which is done digitally. In addition, the Company attended the Digital Market ("PaDi") kick off, which was led directly by Erick Thohir as Minister of BUMN.
This digital signing is legally valid because it is facilitated by a licensed provider. In signing the Memorandum of Understanding, Telkom as a company engaged in the provision of telecommunications services in this case acts as a provider of a digital platform called the PaDi MSMEs. While PTPP along with 7 (seven) other SOEs play a role in involving MSMEs in developing the company's business. PaDi MSMEs is a digital platform that brings MSMEs and SOEs together to optimize, accelerate and encourage the efficiency of SOE shopping transactions at MSMEs, as well as expand and facilitate MSMEs to gain access to finance.
