PT PP (Persero) Tbk, one of the leading, leading, and largest construction and investment companies in Indonesia (“PTPP”) has again extended its assistance in tackling the Covid-19 pandemic. In this activity, PTPP distributed 2,000 (two thousand) bottles of drinks in the form of mineral water, milk, packaged coconut water drinks, packaged juices, etc. which were handed over directly to the Logistics Coordinator of the Wisma Atlet Covid Emergency Hospital on Friday (30/07) then.
In addition, PTPP also provides social assistance to the Indonesian Red Cross (“PMI”) East Jakarta and the Covid-19 Task Force in Pasar Rebo District, Jakarta. The assistance distributed was in the form of 250 pcs of hazmat, 50 boxes of medical masks, 50 pairs of chemical safety gloves, 20 pcs of safety googles, 20 pcs of 3M type 6300 masks, and 10 coffins.
Not only providing assistance around Jakarta, PTPP also distributed personal protective equipment assistance at the Afiati Primary Clinic located in Bandung, West Java. The assistance consisted of N95 masks, KN95 masks, medical masks, latex handscoons, nurse caps, and vitamin C. In addition, PTPP also collaborates with the Alumni Association of Universitas Brawijaya Malang in distributing 200 food packages to people in need. The food packages are distributed to the communities around Brawijaya University Malang in East Java. It is hoped that the provision of basic food packages can help ease the burden on the community's economy in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. The assistance provided is a tangible manifestation of PTPP's concern for the handling of the Covid-19 outbreak in Indonesia
In the field of education, PTPP also provides assistance in the form of scholarships to 13 (thirteen) outstanding children at the Sumbawa University of Technology, West Nusa Tenggara.
“The assistance in the form of personal protective equipment, food packages, and scholarships aims to help others. In times of a pandemic like this, caring for others must be increased. As human beings with morality, we must work hand in hand as much as possible because there are still many people in need, especially in the midst of this Covid-19 pandemic. Besides that. PTPP is committed to continuing to carry out social activities in the form of CSR and CSR," said Yuyus Juarsa as the Company's Corporate Secretary to the media.
